Municipality of Bar, local tourism organization and other tourism companies are among the most busy over and most creative on making and organization the events and manifestations during the whole year. Among the many events, here are some of most popular ones:
International TV festival
Traditional manifestation organized for the first time in 1995, and since than represents the major and most influenced TV and author creations in Montenegro.
Bar summer event
One of the oldest manifestations in Bar. It is organized in mouths of July and august since 1988, and represents an multimedia festival of different kind of events like: theatre peaces, art galleries, book and literary ceremonies, concert etc. “ Mediterranean book fair “ is organized during the manifestation of Bar summer event since 2003.
Swimming marathon
An traditional event held for the first time in 1988 with the distance of 5 km, with starting point in Sutomore near hotel Sozina until - Bar near hotel Princes.
Meetings under the old olive tree
Another traditional manifestation, and is dedicated to children and their creations. Children with their creations on theme “ Olive, peace and friendship “
Festival of wine and fish
Organized in a small village near Bar called Virpazar. This is the manifestation dedicated to Scutari lake and its products of fish and famous Crmica wine.
Olive event
An event organized in the old town of Bar. Bar has the largest number of olive tress and the mayor product of olive oil.
Guitar fest
Winter fest of guitar and music whose goal is grouping of the best guitar players of young musicians and professors from Montenegro and neighbor countries. Date January in Bar
Day’s of Mrkojevići
Manifestation held on the last week of July every year in village called Pečurica , with rich cultural and entertaiming program this event has for goal to voloriye the cultural and hisstorical heritage of this area.
