Saranda
It is simply impossible to describe one city of Albania from another one with less compliments. Since every city of Albania is different from another but still they have something the same: a rich cultural – historical heritage and amazing nature. The same is with Saranda. The Albanian city in south of Albanian seacoast. It is a small charming town.
Saranda except of the many attractions is also as the city with the sunniest days in Albania (290). Saranda is proud with the most attractive waterfront in whole Albania. The fascinating structure and the way the houses are build and they location which is over the hillsides.
The name Saranda comes from the well known monastery called Ayii Saranda dedicated to 40 saints from early Christian period. UNESCO saw the importance of ancient archeological site of Butrint and listed it on its world heritage list of protection. As Butrint also the other hypnotic places such as Blue Eye spring (Syri i Kalter).
Ksamili village beach, are the places to enjoy on its beauties but also places where you can rest and refresh yourself after the exploring.
